Full travel plan:

DAY 0
We meet and gather at Greenfield DIstrict Mayflower Parking Lot in Mandaluyong. At exactly 11:00 pm, our journey begins.

Day 1
As dawn approaches, we’ll stop at Pinkanjo Eatery for an early breakfast. A variety of SILOG (fried rice and egg) meals and freshly brewed coffee await, providing the energy we need for the adventure ahead.

After breakfast, we’ll secure our medical certificates, a necessary requirement for the climb. By 7:00 AM, we’re expected to arrive at DENR Bokod for a mandatory orientation on Mt. Pulag’s ecosystem. Once our permits are secured, we’ll continue our journey, driving through misty, pine-covered hills until we reach the Ranger Station—a lively mountain community where we’ll settle in for the day.

We’ll have lunch at a local eatery before dropping off our bags at our homestay. The afternoon is free for us to soak in the serene mountain views, chat with the locals, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. As the evening sets in, we’ll gather for a home-cooked dinner, share stories, and prepare for the big hike ahead.

DAY 2
We’ll wake up at midnight, prepare for the hike, and enjoy a warm cup of coffee or a light breakfast. At 2:00 AM or depending on our assigned schedule from DENR, we’ll begin our ascent.
By 3:00 AM, we’ll reach Camp 1, where, if the sky is clear, we might be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Milky Way and a sky full of stars. An hour later, we’ll arrive at Camp 2, where Pulag’s iconic ridges come into view.

At the summit, prepare for the highlight of the journey—a spectacular sunrise over a sea of clouds. We’ll take our time to soak in the view, explore the summit, spot the rare dwarf bamboos and if we are lucky, the elusive dwarf rat!

By 8:00 AM, we’ll begin our descent, passing through golden grasslands, pine forests, mossy forests, and diverse flora and fauna. By noon, we’ll be back at the homestay, where a warm meal and a much-needed (but very cold!) wash-up await.

At 2:00 PM, we’ll bid farewell to the highlands and log out at the DENR office. By 6:00 PM, we’ll arrive in Baguio for a quick stop to shop for pasalubong—local handicrafts, fresh strawberries, highland vegetables, and other local treats—before gathering for a celebratory dinner.
By midnight, we’ll arrive back in Manila, carrying memories of Mt. Pulag’s breathtaking beauty and the adventure we shared.

Overview:

Standing at 2,926 MASL, it’s the3rd highest mountain of the Philippines, highest peak in Luzon and is often called the “playground of the Gods” because of its breathtaking sea of clouds during sunrise and it’s the closest to heaven that mountaineers can get in Luzon! Moreover, it has one of the richest biodiversity in the country, being home to the endemic dwarf cloud rat, dwarf bamboo, forests full of pines, moss and grass and rich flora and fauna. Mt. Pulag offers spectacular views offering hikers a rewarding experience.
Camping is also possible but only on weekdays (for private hikes ONLY)

Mt. Pinatubo is not your ordinary climb- it’s a journey of history, resilience, and immersion to nature’s destructive yet breathtaking natural beauty. Till our next adventure!
Did you know?

The 1991 eruption of Mt. Pinatubo was the 2nd largest volcanic eruption of the 20th century, sending ash clouds of sulfur dioxide or lahar up to 20 miles into the sky and drastically altering the landscape leaving billions of agriculture and thousands of properties covered in lahar. It is surpassed only by the 1912 eruption of Novarupta in Alaska
Full travel plan:

Day 0
We meet and gather at Greenfield DIstrict Mayflower Parking Lot in Mandaluyong. At exactly 11 pm, our journey begins.

Day 1
As dawn approaches, we are expected to arrive in Botolan, where we will be greeted with a sight of towering lahar formations. We will also attend a mandatory orientation on the ecosystem of Mt. Pinatubo. After securing permits, we will meet our local guides that will lead us through the trails. Our adventure will begin with a thrilling 4x4 ride across rocky paths and ash-laden river beds and will be rewarded with a view of volcanic cliffs- a reminder of the mountain’s past. At the trailhead, we will begin our trek through barren landscape. Unlike the Capas trail, The Botolan Trail is wilder and longer so prepare for a full day of trekking. We will cross shallow streams, narrow ridges and pass through valleys, uneven terrains and shifting slopes. Before midday, we will be rewarded with the vibrant turquoise waters of Mt. Pinatubo’s Carter Lake. We will take some time to soak ourselves in the beauty of the lake, snap photos, and eat a light lunch. After resting, we will descend back. Since its already afternoon, the return journey offers a different view, golden light casting shadows over the canyons and ridges. As we reach our starting point, we will celebrate our hike with a hearty dinner before going back to the city.
Overview:

Mt. Pinatubo, famous for its catastrophic eruption in 1991, has since transformed into a stunning destination for adventurers. The lake formed in the crater is a beautiful reminder of nature’s resilience, though it’s also a product of the eruption, which collapsed the volcano’s summit and collected rainwater. The color of the lake changes from blue to green depending on the season. Mt. Pinatubo is now home to the Aeta people, a variety of plants, animals, and even unique species of butterflies. One of the less popular routes to reach the crater lake is the Botolan Trail, located in the town of Botolan in Zambales. This trail has a longer 4x4 ride and a more challenging and longer trail compared to the more popular trail, Capas trail. It offers one of the most scenic, accessible routes to experience Mt. Pinatubo’s beauty and history.

Did you know?

Kapangan got its name when an American once asked a local resident what was the name of the place. Since the resident doesn't understand English and so happened that they were about to eat in the party where they were in, she just said "kapangan" which means go eat in English.

Catanduanes is one of the first places typhoons touch when they enter the Philippines—that’s why it’s been called the “Land of the Howling Winds.” But what’s beautiful is how the island has learned to live with the storms… and still stay soft, calm, and full of life.
Full travel plan:

DAY 0 (May 8)
We meet and gather at Greenfield DIstrict Mayflower Parking Lot in Mandaluyong. At exactly 4:00 pm on May 1, our journey begins. We will have multiple stops along the way to eat dinner, stretch our legs and restroom breaks.

Day 1 (May 9)
Our adventure in Catanduanes kicks off with a scenic ferry ride from Tabaco Port, where the cool sea breeze greets us as we sail across the waters.
First stop: Talisoy Beach. With its soft, golden sand and inviting waters, it's the perfect place to unwind after the ferry ride. You can take a leisurely stroll along the shore, dip your toes in the water, or simply relax and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.
Next, we head to Twin Rock Beach Resort, a hidden gem where the ocean meets the sky in the most stunning way. The resort is named after the two giant rocks that stand proudly in the water, offering the perfect spot for some photos, relaxation, and enjoying the sea breeze.
Our next stop is the Bato Church and Marker, a beautiful, historic spot that’s been standing strong for centuries. As we explore the church, we’ll feel the island’s deep sense of history and resilience, offering a quiet moment of reflection.
For those who love a bit of adventure, we’ll make our way to Puraran Surf Resort, a popular spot for surfers looking to catch some waves. Even if you’re not into surfing, the view here is breathtaking, and the resort itself offers a chill vibe that’s perfect for unwinding.
To end the day, we’ll gather for a delicious dinner, sharing stories from the day and savoring the fresh, local flavors of Catanduanes.
End of Day 1.

DAY 2 (May 10)
We begin Day 2 bright and early with a visit to Binurong Point, one of the most breathtaking spots on the island. After a short trek, we’re rewarded with sweeping views of rolling hills meeting the endless blue sea. It’s the kind of place that makes you pause, breathe deeply, and just take it all in.
Next, we slow things down at Sakahon Beach, a quiet stretch of sand where you can dip into the clear waters, sunbathe, or just lie back and enjoy the sound of the waves. It’s laid-back, raw, and refreshing.
We then make our way to the Bote Lighthouse (optional 30-45 minutes trek), offering another stunning view of the sea. It’s a perfect photo spot, but also a beautiful place to just be present and let the breeze kiss your skin.
From there, we head to a true hidden gem, the Nupa Green/Blue Lagoon. Depending on the light, the water here shimmers in shades of emerald and turquoise. It’s magical, peaceful, and feels like something out of a dream.
Before the day ends, we visit Balacay Point, a serene viewpoint where the sea meets the sky in the most dramatic way. The soft wind, the open space, and the golden light make this spot unforgettable.
To close the day, we gather for dinner, sharing laughs and stories over delicious local food as we wind down from a full day of exploring.

Day 3 (May 11)
Our last morning in Catanduanes starts with an early breakfast, giving us one last chance to enjoy the island. The morning is calm and peaceful, a gentle reminder of how the island has embraced us over the past few days.
After breakfast, we’ll head to the port to catch the 8 am ferry back to Tabaco Port. As we sail away, we can take in the views one final time, appreciating the beauty of the coastline that’s made this trip so special.
Once we arrive at Tabaco Port, we’ll begin the land trip back to Manila, with a heart full of memories and experiences from our time on the island. While it’s always hard to say goodbye, the energy of Catanduanes will stay with us, bringing a sense of calm and connection that will linger long after we’ve left.

Final itinerary will be sent upon booking confirmation.
Overview:

Tucked away on the eastern edge of Luzon, this island isn’t on most people’s radar; which honestly makes it even more magical. It’s wild, raw, and real. Think rolling hills, secret waterfalls, golden beaches with barely a soul in sight, and waves that call out to surfers and dreamers.
Locals lovingly call it the “Happy Island,” and once you step foot here, you’ll feel it. There’s something about the quiet beaches, the rolling hills, and the way people smile at you like you’ve always belonged. It’s the kind of place that helps you slow down, breathe deeper, and feel a little more like yourself again
It’s not just a place to visit—it’s a place to remember yourself.
